The LocalSwitch Process

LocalSwitch have developed a simple and practical process to help communities leverage their untapped resources. This process begins with mapping the locality for local resources, physical, human, and social. This gives us a ‘project path outline’ (PPO), or a list of the most suitable projects which the community might engage in.

From the results of the PPO, the community selects a project, or a number or projects to proceed with, and assesses them in more detail for their feasibility.

Using the funnel analogy again, LocalSwitch manage this process by bringing together the resources of experts in their own fields regionally and from around the world, with people on the ground, who collaborate together through LocalSwitch to find and implement the best solutions to local problems
